Ian, I checked with Marshall's Auto Salvage in Clarksville. Got an official sounding lady who told me they didn't allow people to pull their own parts. especially their Volvo's, which seem to be kept in a special yard :-( Still, I thank you for the response.

Does anybody else have suggestions for self-serve salvage yards near Louisville?
