Speedometer cable for an OD 120-130

Blown my angle gear, and want to elimate it. I've heard that a 164 speedometer cable will work. Is this correct? Is there a part number? Is the speedometer cable different for certain years?

I just repaired a speedometer (working tripometer/odometer/speedometer now) that was suppose to be from a '68, and the speedometer output for the cable looks a little different than the one on my '65 speedometer.
