Radio Replacement Question 900 1997

The CD unit in my "Premium Radio," in my '97 960 Sedan is acting up and I'm thinking about an aftermarket replacement; I have taken a look in back of the radio and I can identify the cable to the antenna; the cable to the amp, and thus to the speakers; and the control/power cable. However, I don't think other than thru a long drawn out process, will I be able to identify which wire goes where; I know I could go to crutchfield's and they have the answer with an adapter cable and ecutchen kit; but, I've had lots of luck with Pioneers over the years. And I am considering a Double Din Pioneer FH-P5000MP, with the cassette deck for about 40% less, elsewhere.
Having said all this, does anyone have a wiring diagram with color codes for this exact model? 1997 960 Sedan--I understand that the wiring colors can change from year to year; so I really need the correct one for the car. I have gained a lot of knowledge reading from the forum for the past few months and I thank you all for what you have contributed to my understanding of the 960. I am disappointed in how Volvo is so tight with their repair information and ask the price of a good used 960 for their repair manuals. Too bad they don't put it all on a CD for a couple of hundred dollars; the aftermarket CDs that I have seen to date are not complete. There! I said it now I feel better!
