Help, I can't breathe ..... ! 700 1986

Car is 1986 740T with B230 engine.
It has hard time breathing.....
It keeps pushing dipstick out of its tube.
If I blow through the oil separate tube,
there is resistance. If I do this with oil filler
cap removed, there is no resistance.
Does this mean that the oil separator is OK ?
What else should I check ?
There is no PCV valve on this car.
