Ole silver (245) with over 330k miles (550k kms) - has an interesting and frustrating situation.
It starts fine all summer - runs like a clock. -
When the temperature dips to about -10F - it won't start - even when plugged in.
Cranks well - just won't fire.
The fuel pump relay has been re-soldered - it works fine.
I have been doing some reading - and have come to the conclusion that it is either it is the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) or the cold temp sensor.
HOWEVER - due to the wealth of experience and knowledge out here - I ask - has anyone had a similar situation - and what was the cure for your Brick.
The only snag is I do not ahve a freezer big enough to drive the brick into to test it - that will have to wait till next winter.
Thanks in advance
Goldy
........
And it looks like we'll be blest with a little more rain here in Central Alberta - southern part of the province is bracing for another round of flooding......
