Center Support (have read faq) 700 1989

Hi,

I'm about to try and get to the bottom of a driveshaft vibration issue that occured after I had the center support and bearing replaced at a dealer on my '89 760GLE w/ IRS.
The vibration was not there before, only the usual center support noise on acceleration.

I took it back numerous times after and they said I would probably have to replce the motor mounts, etc.
The vibration is very obvious at certain speeds, even while coasting.
As a side not...It could be out of phase, but there are white alignment marks on it. Interestingly, though... I think both halves are out of different cars, because the factory marked arrows don't line up, if they do the shaft is definately out of phase. There are non-factory weights on it too.

I was able to get a good used complete driveshaft for a very small cost, so I swapped the shafts to see the difference. The vibration was gone, completely smooth. The rubber on the support of this one is cracked up, so basically I'm back to where I was before.
Would it be possible to remove the new support/bearing off the other shaft and put it on this one? Can this be done without damaging it? I'm hoping it won't have the same vibration as tho other one after this! Motor mounts and tranny mount look good. Diff mounts were replaced in 2003.

Thanks :) [Sorry about the long post],
Tim
