Just wondering how I can clean the clyinder walls without scratching them...they're all look good save for #2 where the head gasket blew, and it's quite rusty. Also, I need to really clean alll of the gasket surface areas on the head & block. Any ideas? .....................................................................................The GT project is going pretty well, although I did strip three headbolts. I'm just awaiting my FCP Groton parts to show up, and working on little things. I hope to have it on the road by next weekend. If all goes well, I'll do a heater control valve, new brake lines, rebuild the front seat and replace the cracked dash. I've given up on finding a perfect grill I can afford, so I'll be modding a plain flathood grill for the foglamps. Anyone done this? Thanks as always!
