740 Turbo Exhaust system

I have a few small leaks in the exhaust system in my high-mileage 740 Turbo. At some point in time a PO replaced the original system with a 1.5 inch system which has two small cherry bomb type mufflers and another small muffler at the rear, and the tail pipe exits straight out the rear. There is no cat. I have no idea what this car should have, and would like someone to explain what the system should be.
The IPD site shows a few custom exhaust systems, but no standard 740 Turbo system for a B230FT.
