Possibly someone can help me out.... I have my '75 164e at the shop, for conversion from the original automatic to a manual gearbox. I had purchased manual-trans driveline a couple of years back as a package, and it sat in storage until now.
It now comes to pass that the vendor sent me the wrong flywheel, looks like he sent me one from a B20.
I desperately need either:
(a) a 164 flywheel, preferably the later, 8-bolt style to match my car, or
failing that a 6-bolt one I can have machined/modified
OR
(b) any stored knowledge as to a 'cludge' (aka adaptation) that may work, in other words another Volvo flywheel or even one from another make, that may be close enough to use as-is or adapt with machine shop work.
Just FYI, I have e-mailed Scandcar, no reply (yet). Rusty at RPR cannot get
one.
Thanks
Mac
