water in the floorboard? 200 1991

My sons, new to us,1991 240 has started leaking what I think is water in the passanger floorboard. Seems to be coming from the area of the firewall under/behind the dash. Anyone have an idea where this could be coming from and how to fix the problem. I had him check the water level in the radiator and it is ok, the car is not running hot....yet. However, there seems to be a faor ammount of water coming into the passanger side.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
