Planning to replace radiator in 89 760 Turbo. Was replaced last in 93. Where the upper hose slips on to the plastic end tank -- a piece is broken-off -- so there is only a very small section left to hold the hose. In any event it's about 12 years old. Blackstone Aluminum.

In researching the Nissen vs Blackstone pros/cons, etc and pricing, I found that the Volvo dealership is now selling "remanufactured" radiators. They're significantly cheaper than the new Blackstones were. I presume that they are "Blackstones" that Volvo is selling but the parts people I spoke with only indicated that they come from the Volvo factory.

1. Have any of you purchased a rebuilt radiator from Volvo?

2. Was it Blackstone?

3. What's the quality of the rebuilt been?
