I RECENTLY HAD AN ISSUE WHERE MY TRANNY WAS NOT ENGAGING. IT TURNED OUT TO BE CLOGGED TRANNY FILTER. IT WAS CLOGGED WITH CLUTCH MATERIAL. SPOOK ADVISED THAT WATER MIGHT HAVE ENTER THE TRANN, DUE TO A FAULT RADIATOR, WHICH DOES MAKE SENSE, I REFLUSHED THE SYSTEM AND THE TRANNY IS ABSOLUTELY CLEAN. I RAN 2 CASES OF TRANNY FLUID THROUGH THE TRANNY AND NOW THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT NICE RED FLUID. I DID NOTICE THAT THE TRANNY IS A LITTLE OVER FILLED MAYBE A QT. OR 2. IM GOING TO DRAIN IT OUT IN A FEW MINUTES ACTUALLY. THE CAR SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH REVERSE. IT SEEMS TO BE CAUGHT BETWEEN DRIVE AND REVERSE AND IT TAKES SOME EFFORT TO ACTUALLY REVERSE AS IF THE BRAKES WERE ENGAGED AND THE WHEN THE CAR IS PLACED IN NEUTRAL ITLL MOVE FORWARD AND IF YOU ACCELERATE THE CAR WILL ACTUALY GO IN NEUTRAL. IM CLUELESS AT THIS TIME AND I AM GOING TO GO IN SEARCH OF A TRANNY JUST IN CASE. THE ONLY OTHER THING I DID WHEN I DID THE TRANNY FLUID THE FIRST TIME IS USE LUCAS AUTO TRANNY FIX. I HAD GOOD RESULTS WITHA 745 I HAD A FEW YEARS BACK THAT HAD TRANNY SLIPPAGE AND IT WORKED MIRACLES. IM WONDERING IT THE LUCAS CAN ALSO BE A CULPRIT IN THE ODD BEHAVIOR OF MY TRANNY. I WILL POST THE RESULTS IN A FEW DAYS AFTER DROPPING HTE EXCESS FLUID. IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER POSSIBLE INFO ON WHAT ELSE MY CAUSE THIS BEHAVIOR IT WILL BE APPRECIATED.ALSO HOW HARD IS THE TRANNY SWAP IN A DRIVEWAY WITH 2 JACKS AND JACKSTANDS.
