Wife was driving the '94 960 when the engine suddenly quit running. After a few minutes she was able to crank it and drive home with no problems. The codes I retrieved were 1-1-3 and 1-1-5.
I'm apparently not reading the code tables in the FAQ correctly. I retrieved these codes from unit A socket 6. Since I'm reading this from socket 6, it looks like I have EZK 116 or Regina Rex Ignition. But the Table 2 of codes in the FAQ for socket 6 does not list the 1-1-3 or 1-1-5.
My questions: Which table of codes should I be using? What ignition do I have? What do these codes mean? What part(s) do I need to replace?
I seem to remember from somewhere that these two codes represented the power stage modules - one for even numbered cylinders, and one for odd numbered. What is the likelyhood that both would have failed at exactly the same time?
As always, thanks for all tips, advice, and inspiration!
