Fuse For Blinkers and Electric Windows Continues to burn out 700 1987

Greetings!

I have a 1987 Volvo 740 GLE Turbo. The problem I am expriencing is that the fuse that controls the blinker and power window funtions for the car continuously blows out. I can't recreate the problem isolating the issue to the use of the windows or the blinker. For example, the fuse doesn't blow only when I use a particular window or only when I use the blinker. My mechanic is unable to find a reason for the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

As a point of information, sometime before this problem began, I had a new engine wireset installed. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not.
