My '90 740 has been great, 235000 mi, but this am has a deep grumbling when I start out. It goes away when I get up to some speed but when I stop and then start again it reappears. Sounds like toward the rear, maybe in the driveshaft though. U joint maybe? It was not there at all til now but I thought I noticed a bit of vibration over the last couple of days.
Any thoughts and fixes today in the SF/East Bay area welcomed.
