I manged to find a rebuild kit for my girling mk2a brake servo/booster. I got it disassembled and I noticed that the rear cast brake line fitting is cracked through on two sides. The casting is as good as gone. Even if I dared to fill it with JB-Weld, the leather outer seal on the piston is torn apart and the kit doesn't include a new leather outer seal seal. damn. doubly screwed. I give up. I'm going to re-sell the unused rebuild kit to someone with better luck.
In looking for local (not swedish) boosters, I've run across a few different models from mercedes, jaguars, etc. These appear to be the same sort of booster, just a slightly different configuration. Should I avoid any servos in particular, or will any similar booster work? I'm leaning towards a Jaguar Servo atm
