What about a 'K' cam replacement for '69 164? 140-160

Any of you 164 owners ever try a "K" grind to replace the stock "C"? I'm hearing that it's the way to go for an automatic, fairly strong low-end, longer range and a little higher lift. Any comments, criticisms? I hear the "D" is not as good for automatics, "not enough power to knock a sick whore off a pee pot!" I'm quoting here. Translation: That's Nashvillian for not enough low end torque.
