What battery do I need? 900 1992

Suspect my battery's beyond recharge (meter read 11.7 volts, my book says that's way below and needs professional help).

So it may be easier to replace the unit; trouble is, with what - do I just follow the guides on the battery (starting amps etc?) or is there a given spec for a '92 940 B230FT/Auto?
