My Temp guage on my 86 244 went south since I bought the car in march 05.
This afternoon july 11th the temp guage went 3/4 almost to hot. I pulled
over to check the temp guage wire and it was un hooked. I connected it and
drove a mile and it snuck back up to 3/4 again. The coolant in the res is
hot but not hot enough that it could scald. But the rad & hoses are to
hot to touch. What could be the problem? The water in the res tank is clear.
Anyone got an idea what could be the problem? The wire harness is new.
