I just bought a 245 5 speed w/238k miles. I am not restoring it but want to do enough that it becomes a reliable daily driver in town. It has run very little last 3 years. The P.O. drove it about 4 miles to my work parking lot - he had to coax it to start but than ran OK. I tried to start it at work but no joy. It does show very low gas (gas can a'coming to work soon - premium and injection cleaner). Where should I start in enhancing reliability?? I'm thinking start with new fuses, long life bulbs, oil change, new tires (what size is best??)new fan belt(s), check pads. I need used right taillight lens, and both front park/turn lenses, and cap that holds headlight in on LF. Wondering about 15" wheels?? I had an old 164 a long time back, several old BMW's, never a Volvo 240 series, moderate mechanical capability. More questions to follow. Thanks!!
