Tailgate wiring harness tip 200

I did my tailgate harness 2 years ago. This year, my center brake light and rear wiper started to be intermittent. The problem was *not* the harness as I thought. It was the ground screw under the top edge of the inside panel of the tailgate. I put on a lochwasher and tightened that screw - all works fine again now.


Anyway, before ripping apart your tailgate harness and hinges, check that screw. Tightening it might just save you 2 hours of pain.
