fuse failure wiper circuit 700 1991

1991 745T 190K

Found that my intermittent wipers blow the fuse. Regular continuous settings cause no problem.

Would anyone else think that the first step might be to replace the relay that controls the intermittent function?

If that doesn't fix it what else might I look at?

Looking at an old image from the gallery it would appear the the relay in question is on the right in the back of the tray. Can anyone verify the location in the 91 740?

As an aside I just returned from a 1000 mile run in the car. Ran well and averaged 23.8 mpg at about 75mph. Lots of power when needed. With 190K on the clock I was happy with her performance.

Randy
