The driver's seat in my car really sucks now. The backrest is excellent despite a broken lumbar support(made a big SNAP! then went limp). But the bottom of the seat where most of my weight goes(obviously) is sagging so much I'm sitting on a metal bar!
After a preliminary inspection it appears that several of those load-bearing springs have popped out from where they're meant to go. They just hang off the structure of the seat.
Assuming that that's my only problem, how hard are those springs to stretch out and hook back on to the little mesh thing that supports the seat? Is there a trick to doing it? Is it easier if the whole seat is removed from the car?(I'm not too confident I can remove it at all.)
