Hi Ya'll.
After many hours reading board commentary, 'bout time I submit a query!
I just purchased a '75 244 GL for a song. It's silver, black leather, sunroof, a few cool accessory oem guages, driver mirror adjusts from the inside (I was told this was kinda special), 153,000 miles.....a very nice car and definately a keeper! As it hasn't ran in about 4-5 years, I'll be doing the usual fluid concerns before starting. My problem: I know plenty about 140's and a little 'bout 1800's, though this seems to be a little different. It's a 240 w/ a B20! I look under the hood and picture all the STUFF that needs to be sheared from the motor in order to make it a little more, well, simple. Does anyone have some pointers on this particular model? BTW: It will stay primarily stock, except for add on suspension, and fewer parts to worry about under the hood. Suggestions? Comments? Rude Commentary?
Thank you!
