oil leak 1800 1972

hey there.

I just replaced the cam and the lifters, and I got the former beast running beautifully. This was quite a job!!

and then.... I looked down to see a stream of oil coming from the back part of the engine/ trany. It is coming from the bell housing.

any ideas??

oil pressure seems fine.

It had a slight leak back there before the work, I noticed there was oil that was sprayed back along the tran, but it seems like quite a coincidence that this would happen right after I did all the engine work.
