B230 Oil Pump 900 1995

The engine is a B230. The pump release spring is out of specifications. The spring measures 45 mm and should measure 39.2 mm. Is this a serious problem?
I am thinking on buying a new pump. but the Volvo version is very expensive, How good are the pumps IPD offers? Thanks for your help.
