instrument cluster wiring for 89 240 200 1989

Everything I've read about pulling the instrument cluster notes that it's a good idea to write down the wire colors and where they attach. When I pulled mine, there was the round circle of wires, and the half circle of wires. There was another wire on the bottom right. I don't have a tach and the red/white wire supposedly is for that. Are there some connections missing?
