dumb car wont start 200 1990

have a 91 240 sw parked it in the yard one day went away for 3 days came back wont start. had in tank pump change still did not start. took it to shop for Diagnostic ,they said it was the ecu got one from the "j" yard still no start is there something i am missing.shop said new ecu cost 15 to 18 hundred big ones.HELP!
