The time has come to pass on my 1988 Volvo 240GL. A mechanic confirmed there is alot of trash in the gas tank, and it needs to be replaced. I'm not going to fix it this time. I had a good run with her, never left me anywhere until this fuel system catastrophe. My first car, my first love, she was everything to me. She took anything I threw at her. She only complained a couple of times, easily fixed with some TLC. So sad, I hate to do this, but it's what I have to do.

Onto the specs, As I mentioned before 1988 Volvo 240GL. She cranks and runs ok, sputtering with the trash quickly clogging the filter I put on yesterday. White,Auto, Around 218,000 miles...(odometer is out). This is a GL so, those of you looking to "upgrade", here is a good chance. I'm asking $950 (that is negotiable folks), only because the body and inside are in great condition. Volvo is in Lexington, SC. A few miles from Columbia. I'm a college kid, needing another car and some extra money to pay for my college. Also if you guys want to see some pics, I can take those as well.

I want to say thanks to everyone at Brickboard. You all have helped me alot through the life of my car, I hope to one day return to Volvo. One of my dream cars is a 242, because of this board. Volvo owners are truly a great breed. Thank you all.
