I am adapting the volvo/dana/sears CC for a 68 220 with twin SUs. I need a vacuum point that is relativly constant, IE not behind the throttle plates, I am going to try using the out on the balancing tube of the intake manifold. But this is neither here nor there, I would like more info as to how volvo creates constant (relativly) vacuum.
The other ? is about the sensor on the 240. The sears set up uses a coil sensing a magnet attached to the drive shaft. WHere does the early volvo system sense speed? It comes with a coil type sensor, but has very short leads.
Any and all input welcome and appreciated.
