Oil 15/40 for 780 turbo???? 700 1989

Hi, I had an oil change (jiffy lube) yesterday and they adviced 15/40 oil. I just found out on the FAQ section that Volvo's need 10/30. should I change the oil or can I wait till the next oil change? I'm located in HOT Los Angeles, mosty heavy traffic and lots of mountains.
