Ok, so I've been getting crappy gas mileage, and I've been told to check the air box thermostat. I can obviously get inside the airbox by removing the cover and air filter, but I don't see anything in there that resembles the air box thermostat. As far as I can tell, the thermostat is inside the intake (tube entering the airbox), and that's at such a sharp angle that I can't see very far in. Everything that I've read says to see if the intake is stuck to hot (i.e. the thermostat is letting only hot air into the airbox), but I don't even see any moving parts that I can check. Can someone throw me a bone here? Is it actually possible to disassemble the airbox?
