Replacing CAM steering rack with ZF 200

Hello all, I have a 1990 740 ZF steering rack that I want to use if possible on my 1988 245DL that has a bad CAM steering rack. Is this possible, I checked fcp groton's site and they say that their rebuilt racks will fit either, with the proper mounting hardware. Any info on what I need to do to convert this?
