Hello,
I have been considering to sell my beloved volvo as my financial situation is tight and the gas prices are on the increase. I have been looking at cars.com and autotrader.com regularly to check on the car prices. It seems the higher mileage volvos dont sell really fast as compared to hondas and toyotas.
I would describe my car as virtually rust free, even though the mileage is touching 230000mi., it had been well maintained by the PO. i got the car from a used car dealership with the windscreen crack of 1 foot, and broken taillight. It does not have radio, and the a/c is not working. Apart from that, everything else is fine. No leaks whatsoever. This is confirmed by several mechanics. The body is almost excellent. Recent work done by me include new timing belt and tensioner, TB cleaning, new spark plugs and wires, oil change, transmission flush, IAC cleaning, PCV system as well.
I am quite reluctant to let go of the car at a price below $1500. will the price 1800 be justified? I live in Wisconsin, and volvos are not so popular around here. What do you guys think?
