Replace torsion spring in 940 door hinge 900

Just bought a 1993 940 wagon. One of the small problems is a
broken torsion spring in the drivers door lower hinge. Without
the spring, the door wont stay open. If I remove the hinge assembly
can the spring be replaced - perhaps with a spring from another used
hinge ? Thanks, Mike
