Expansion Valve/Oriface for A/C Orientation? 900 1993

Tomorrow I am going to install a new condensor and expansion valve (VOV).
I'm not sure the previous one was installed in the correct orientation.

What does that spray nozzle point to, and the screen point to?
I believe the nozzle is oriented towards the condensor.
