oil idiot light doesn't work? 200

my 84 245 oil light doesn't work. i've test the bulb itself and it is fine. when the key is turned to the on position all the other lights come one, battery, lambda, brake failure, parking brake, etc. but not the oil. it never comes on. anyone suggestions?
