'94 960 elec grounds on engine 900

Hello,
I own a '94 960 that has given me some problems with stalling over the past few months. I posted this and got some really good advise, thank you all.
I changed FI and ICoil relays and I replace the fuel pump relay and an identical one near the ash tray. This did not improve the performance of my car. I checked all the wires and I found the two brown wires that ground at the engine block, between the oil cap and the FI, full of oil. I decided to replace the connector. Doing so I noticed that the bolt was stripped. It was late at night so I decided to remove a bolt holding the engive block toghter and ground the wire there. This bold is ajacent to the other bolt but more center of the engine. Its been two days and the car has not stalled, bu it feels a bit different. When driving and at a stop I feel a bit of a tremble. The engine oscillates a bit and the slight trembling last about a 3 seconds then goes away for 3 second . . . . . . . .

Is the part of engine block where the grounds were orinally connected energized in anyway?

Did I do a bad job in connecting the wires to the connectors?

Can it be a different problem?

Thanks. JR
