Turbo bolts 700 1987

Trying to install a new turbo and having a bitch of a time with bolts that mount the turbo housing to the exhaust manifold.

The old bolts were toast, so I started with new grade 8 bolts. The turbo worked great but it sheared all the bolts off (broke them right in two)

So I moved to new grade 5 bolts. These also broke off.

Is the solution in moving to softer bolts, as I've been trying? Should I use stainless steel bolts?

What type of bolts comes in the turbo originally?


Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
