Just replaced my M40 with an M41 140-160

Hi,
I just spent the weekend in 85-90 degree heat flat on my back in my driveway under my 142 putting in an M41. It really is a two man job as that thing is a little heavy to lift and install for one. I was able to lift it and balance it on a jack and get it close, ...then heave. Actually I had to do it twice as the first time I pressed the clutch my newish cable broke, so I pulled it all apart and redid it, figuring that I somehow jammed the throwout bearing. But it is all in now and working fine, (lucky I had a spare clutch cable).

Now if I can just figure out the reverse sending switch! My old tranny had a one prong connection, this one has three and I tried different configurations and ? nothing. My simple mind hasn't yet mastered the art of simple electrics and wires yet. It seemed that I had two hot leads, one was yellow and one was black, (isn't black usually reserved for grounds?), then another yellow wire. ...but what wire goes one what part of the switch? ...ah well I'm supposed to be going forward most of the time anyway.
