Well, just got this thing back together an hour ago with a new bearing and carrier. Grabbed a couple of buddies and took it for a spin only to find out nothing has changed. Drive line still shudders when pulling away.checked all three u-joints while I had the shafts off and they still seem smooth. There's no lateral movement @ the tranny mount when tugged on. One thing I did find was a tiny bit of tail shaft bushing play, but not enough that would be causing my problem. Is there any other way to check these u-joints? I'm down 300 bucks in parts so far and would prefer not spending much more without knowing what's actually bad this time. Greaty appreciate any further input. Thanks.
