'89 240DL won't start 200


No Fuel No Spark, Relay good, Yesturday it would run as long as I had a fukk charge on the battery and then only for 3 minutes.

I checked my LH-2.4 connector, Terminals 5,19,29 have residule voltage 3V.
I disconnected the battery checked the resistance between them and ground 2000 ohms. Between 5 - 19 - 29 there is 0 ohms.

This all started when the cap below the valve cover blew off. Yea I know I don't deserve to drive a brick if I treat it that way, been working a lot just moved and this week I was planiing on doing complete maintenance on it.

I had been getting an occasional RPM fault so I changed it, cable was frayed.

My question is on page 390-6 Fig 13 of Bentlys are those really the ground points,And is that were I search for my ground problem?

The schematic shows some jumper blocks. Are they the blue ones by the LH unit?

It is late I will look at it tomorrow.
