I don't want to sound stupid but what does the rubber booty around the piston in a brake caliper do? Just keep the area clean? where are the places that the brake fluid can leak out? I don't want to replace/rebuild master cylinder etc. if that is not my problem. How do I test with certainty if it is a bad MC?
