Alternator belt 700 1989

How do I decrease the tension on the A/C and alternator belts to be able to replace the alternator belt? I can get the A/C loose, but one of the lines to or from the A/C is hitting the side of the alternator mounting bracket, preventing it from loosening enough to get the belt off. And I flat can't figure out how to loosen the alternator. Any help is appreciated.
