my 84 245 seems to have very poor low rpm power. i know its a 4 cylinder, but this b23 is as slow as my b21ft was without a turbo. once the motor hits ~3000 rpm it seems to start accelerating stronger all of the sudden, but the automatic always shifts by 4500 rpm. the gas mileage is also questionable @ only 300 miles to a tank. if i remember right my old one got 400 miles a tank. is this a tale-tale sign of a particular problem?
