Hello All,

I'm just about ready for the road. Spent the weekend taking the front suspension apart to change out the warn bushings (very simple to do), and while I am waiting for the POR-15 to dry, have been looking to replace the dust boots on the ball joints. I haven't had any luck with getting a source for replacement of only the boots. The joints themselves seem in fine condition (there is no slop to the joints that I can tell, the boots are just cracked.

So I have 2 questions. 1. Should I replace the ball joints just because they are out? 2. Can I use a universal replacement for the boot only (found these at the local parts place).
