Help a Novice Learn Timing 120-130

Hello,
I am going to perform a tune-up on my 122s with a B20B and am doing a quite extensive one. I plan on replacing the points with the Perlux ignitor system as well as many other things. I need to learn how to perform timing adjustments and was wondering if anyone would be willing to offer their expertise. I think I have a basic grasp on it, but any help would be immensely appreciated. Thanks a bunch!
