So my car does not start.

The car started up by bridging the red wire(battery ) to the spade lug the (blue yellow).Also it can be push started. I get no sound at all when the ig switch is cranked. I do have power to all lights etc.
I have replaced the ignition switch as well, where else should I be looking? This is a standard trans. Also can anybody tell me if the Ig switch has to go on a certain way , other than just popping it on and screwing it down.

I am thinking of running a wire from the starter silinoid to the ignition switch , can anyone tell me which wire off the ignition switch the signal to start the engine resides?
