Can any one help me figure out what these mystery parts are? First, I have a small black cylindrical item bolted to my firewall just left of my cruise control unit. It is wrapped in black plastic/rubber.The bracket that holds it, bends outward, away from the firewall. It has 1 yellow and 1 brown wire, both come from inside the cylinder and appear to go through the firewall. The cylinder is marked 'duracool'.
Second, I have a wire under my passengers seat that is about 3-4ft long. I has an end on it similar to the co-axial used to hook up cable tv. At first, I thought it was just a piece of old wire stuck up under the seat, but it travels under the carpet and is connected to something. I haven't been able to follow it yet, but I am sure that is definitely part of my car.
