I posted on this car earlier. It turns out that while cleaning the FI system and replacing old sensors was good for general principles, I have isolated the problem to oxydized connector contacts by cycling connections and cleaning contacts. Now the car runs very well. But it's borrowed time because the wiring is beginning to shed insulation. It's an 18 year old car with the first 14 years spent in a humid part of the country. I now remember the last Volvo, an 85 240 B230F had the same problem until the wiring harness was replaced and the throttle body cleaned up. Will I be able to replace the wiring harness without lifting the car or is the job better done by the Volvo specialist shop in Albuquerque?
